Every time an attribute is assessed, the updates are ranked based on the table below. The highest a rating can go is 5 stars and comes with a multiplier based on every rank. The complete gameplay of the racing game comprises a variety of racing events spread across different modes. The type of racing events is controlled via the mode that the player selects. There is a total of two racing modes available within the metaverse, the PvE mode, and the PvP mode.
The PvE mode allows the users to participate in mini-games and races against the AI that is designed to give an experience to the players before they compete with other players online in the PvP mode. The PvE mode has a variety of racing events that the players can choose to play against the AI and test out their customizations.
The Lap race format enables the players to select the number of available laps that they want to race against the AI. This format allows the player to test the endurance of their customization giving them a clear picture of how it will look like when they compete with other players in the PvP mode.
The time race format is designed in a manner where the players are supposed to race through checkpoints in a limited timeframe. Every time the players cross the checkpoint before time, the bonus time gets added to their total time limit.
Similar to popular racing game formats seen in popular racing game franchises like need for speed, the PvE racing mode is a real-time event where the player has to evade the law enforcement vehicles without getting busted. Every time a player crosses a milestone, and implements damage to public properties they get points added to their profile. This mode enables the players to build tactics and strategies which they can implement when they compete against other players on the metaverse.
The reckless racing format is like a demolition-based race format where the players need to score base points and gain a subset percentage of the points scored by their opponents. when destroying other players or the AI, the points get added under their names. Players can also earn points based on the stunts that they complete and based on the complexity of the stunt, the scoring point and weightage will increase.
The PvE racing format is to test the speed and reliability of your car. the user has to properly make use of gear shifts based on the start of the race. Any downshifts or mistimed shifts can cause stalling losing initial speed. The racing format also tests the player's ability to strategically use nitros and upshifts to win the game.
The PvP mode is the racing format where the player competes against real players on the metaverse. Based on the positions secured by the players, the number of points is awarded, which they can exchange to trade NFTs or CRS tokens. Single Lap and lap race are the two formats that are available for the player in the PvP mode. Before competing against a skilled set of players, players can test out their builds and customizations using similar racing formats that are available in the PvE mode.
The biggest advantage of Cyber Racers apart from providing the players with an amazing gaming experience on the metaverse is the immense opportunities that are based on social interactions. The complete metaverse of Cyber Racers contains a variety of racing clubs and crew battles that the players can choose from. The racing clubs that are available within the metaverse allow the players to associate themselves with people with similar interests in the racing world. The racing clubs can have multiple criteria and eligibilities for new members and the rules lies at the discretion of the club members. Racing Club based events in Cyber Racers allow the player to explore more and experience team-level gaming on the metaverse. There are a lot of advantages that come with being a part of a racing club in the game.
a. The player gets to interact with fellow racing club members, assist them in races, build rides and test them out together before they compete against other racing clubs.
b. The player also gets the privilege of exchanging NFTs with fellow members of the club. However, they are restricted to only exchanging NFTs for NFTs and cannot trade for CRS tokens.
c. Any win that a racing club makes adds points and placement to the club when compared to other racing clubs on the metaverse making it a much more team-oriented game if you prefer it than single-player mode.
Crew battles: Apart from racing clubs and respective events, there are crew battles that happen across the metaverse of Cyber Racers. To take part in a crew battle gaming mode, the player must be a part of a racing club. Different formats are available within the crew battle mode.
One is the Squad mode which allows four players from each club to compete against each other. The winner will be decided based on the total points scored by each of the members in the race. The first position is given to the squad that has the maximum number of points.
Relay mode allows only 2 players from each racing club to participate. In the relay mode, each lap is raced by any one member of the crew and they are swapped at the beginning of the next lap. The number of swaps is decided based on the number of laps in the race mode. The members that are elected to participate in any of the two crew battle modes lie at the discretion and the unanimous decision of all members in the club to maintain harmony and brotherhood within the club.
